Founded in 2005, Backup Technology has become a world leader in the Online Cloud Backup, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity market, with an international customer base from a wide range of sectors.

Our investment in infrastructure and people lies at the core of our success. We currently protect over 15 petabytes of customer data in the cloud, utilising Asigra, the world’s leading Online Backup software developer and NetApp, a leading storage vendor. As our data grows so do we, and we are now one of Asigra’s largest global partners, with every one of our technical employees being trained and certified as Asigra experts.

Based in Leeds in the UK, we have a global reach, with offices, data centres and partners throughout the world – from Houston in Texas across the globe to Sydney in Australia. We serve customers in virtually every territory of the world. Recognised and renowned for our expertise, we have constantly strived to innovate in the fields of data storage, archive and back up and have earned a reputation for excellence along the way. BTL became Asigra’s first Global Partner of the Year in 2008 and became Asigra’s first European 3D Hybrid Partner later that same year.
