Royal Navy suffers data breach after website hack
Last weekend a hacker allegedly broke into the Royal Navy’s website, gaining access to private information and data in a potentially hazardous cyber attack. The hack was carried out by a Romanian-based individual going by the alias of TinKode. New MoD data losses reported
The Ministry of Defence has unveiled an alarming new report detailing multiple incidents in which confidential data has gone missing. In 2009 the MoD said that 347 separate data losses occurred and it has now announced that in the first two months of 2010 a further 71 incidents of allegedly protected data going missing have occurred.
