The operating system on a Solaris machine is based around the UNIX architecture; therefore it can be backed up in the same way as a Linux or UNIX machine. Solaris does not always have a UNIX-SSH daemon installed and may require manual installation; but this is not a problem as we can help you do this.
How is this done without agents?
In the same way that Linux machines are able to communicate with each other natively, our software can also protect Solaris data once installed on a Linux machine. The native APIs are utilised to communicate with the other Solaris machines that you wish to back up and access, without the need for any additional software. This process really will streamline your operations by accessing and protecting your data efficiently and securely.
Supported Versions
If a UNIX-SSH daemon is, or can be installed, we can back it up.
We support a wide range of operating systems, email clients, databases & applications. Please contact us if your system isn’t listed.
