The software solution we provide is certified for integration by SAP, for use as a backup solution with their enterprise software on HP UX platforms with BR*TOOLS.
Due to the security requirements of SAP, our solution is restricted from initiating backup from outside the SAP server itself. To backup the SAP databases, we install our software solution’s certified software component onto the SAP server itself which will allow BR*TOOLS to perform backups securely through an encrypted connection to an installation of our software outside the SAP server, instead of to tape. Our software installation is then able to check for any changes since the last backup and transmit them to our secure off-site vault.
