Five steps to peace of mind
Because we offer a ‘best fit’ solution instead of an ‘off-the-shelf’ compromise, we’ll analyse your needs and implement our services in the most appropriate way. Though subject to your requirements, a typical project will follow a five step process.
Step one:
Backup Technology installs a single agentless Asigra Televaulting DS Client on a dedicated device, existing server or workstation.
Step two:
Client software is then able to discover all servers, desktops, laptops, domains and remote sites within a network.
Step three:
We then work with you to create all the necessary backup sets and schedules, ensuring all data, email applications and databases are automatically protected - around the clock.
Step four:
For added peace of mind, an initial backup is taken and encrypted on site, using either your internet connection (if you have less than 30GB of data), a portable USB hard drive or disk array for larger data sizes. We take further security measures by importing this backup to our primary data centre in Manchester.
Step five:
At scheduled times the client analyses the data, finds new and changed file blocks, eliminates duplicate files across all locations and further compresses the residue bytes. The software then encrypts the data before transmitting it via your internet connection to our centralised N+1 Asigra vaults located in fully secure UK data centres.
