Bare Metal Restore is part of Backup Technology’s agentless architecture. This multi-site solution allows administrators to quickly and efficiently recover a complete server and retrieve any lost, damaged or corrupted data to any system at any location .
How is my system recovered?

The backup process would include the protection of the C$, system state and services database. After the initial full backup only the incremental changes will be transmitted over the WAN in a fully encrypted format.
In the event of server failure recovery can be achieved within a matter of minutes. To restore the server an operating system of the same family would need to be installed on to the same or different hardware, in a physical or virtual environment. The server would be recovered as it was before failure with the same IP address, registry, services and Active Directory (if applicable).
