Keep your system protected with the MAC Backup Solution.

The operating system on a Mac machine is based around the UNIX architecture and can be backed up in the same way as a Linux or UNIX machine
The only requirement is that the UNIX-SSH daemon is installed and configured and that you have a single Linux installation of Backup Technology’s Mac software solution within your Local Area Network (LAN). Once in place, Backup Technology simply gives their software solution the location of your MAC and any credentials that may be required. Selected data will then be compressed, encrypted and transmitted to their secure online backup vault.
How is this done without agents?
Macs are able to communicate with each other natively, and because Mac is based around the UNIX architecture it is also able to natively communicate with other Linux and UNIX machines.
With Backup Technology’s software solution installed on a Linux machine, it can then use the Linux installation’s native APIs to communicate with the Mac machines that you wish to back up and access. As such, you can get to their resources without the need for any additional software. Why overcomplicate things with extra software that will only do something Linux already does both efficiently and securely?
